Speciﬁ cations

The Intrinsically Safe Ionisation Smoke Detector

1151EIS was developed for the safe detection of a

wide range of smoke aerosols. The modern design of

the ionisation chamber allows to reliably evaluate the

characteristics of ﬁ re.

Conventional technology is used for alarm transmission

to the ﬁ re detection control panel. In conjunction with

the Safety Barrier ES58-2, the detector reaches the

given Ex classiﬁ cation. The two LEDs with 360° visibility

indicate the activated condition of the detector.

A detector function test can be conveniently conducted

using a magnet or test gas. The detector can be at-

tached to various bases and it can be protected against

theft.
